Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
Add salt and pepper to the pork chops
Put olive oil in a pan and heat it over medium-high heat
The pork chops should be browned on both sides before being put in the slow cooker
Put the onion and garlic in the same pan
Add the chicken broth, Dijon mustard, and paprika after cooking until the vegetables are soft
Use a stir to mix
Use a slow cooker to cook pork chops
Pour sauce over them
Leave the lid on and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, until the pork is soft
Move the pork to a serving dish and keep it warm after its done cooking
To make a slurry, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl
Be sure to mix the slurry into the sauce in the slow cooker
Stir in the heavy cream until the sauce gets thick, which should take about 15 minutes
Cover pork chops with sauce
Add chopped fresh parsley on top before serving
