Peppermint Bark Brownies

Its the perfect mix of rich chocolate brownies, the cool taste of peppermint, and the crunchy sweetness of candy canes. For the holidays or any time you want a fun dessert, these Peppermint Bark Brownies are a great choice.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract

Instructions:

Preheat oven to temperature specified on brownie mix box

Prepare brownie batter according to package instructions

Fold in crushed candy canes, chocolate chips, and peppermint extract into the brownie batter

Pour batter into a greased baking pan

Bake according to package instructions, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean

Remove from oven and let cool slightly

Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth, stirring between each interval

Drizzle melted white chocolate over the cooled brownies

Sprinkle additional crushed candy canes on top of the melted white chocolate

Allow the chocolate to set before cutting into squares and serving
