Bacon Blue Deviled Eggs with Roasted Garlic and Asparagus

These gourmet deviled eggs are a take on a traditional favorite. This dish is taken to a whole new level by adding roasted asparagus, bacon, blue cheese, and creamy roasted garlic.

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 oz blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup roasted garlic cloves
  • 6 asparagus spears, trimmed and roasted
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh chives for garnish

Instructions:

Cover the eggs with cold water and put them in a saucepan

Bring to a boil, then turn down the heat so it doesnt boil over

Make it for 10 to 12 minutes

Take the eggs out of the hot water and put them in a bath of ice water to cool down

Take off the shells and cut the eggs in half down the middle

Take the egg yolks out and put them in a bowl

The egg yolks, Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar, and roasted garlic should all be mashed together until the mixture is smooth

Add pepper and salt to taste

Use a spoon or a piping bag to add the yolk mixture to each egg white half

Cracked bacon, blue cheese, and a spear of roasted asparagus should be put on top of each deviled egg

Add fresh chives as a garnish

Put the deviled eggs in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before you serve them
