Ingredients:
- 1 large cauliflower head
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, thinly sliced, for garnish
Instructions:
Turn on the oven and heat it up to 400F 200C
Take off the cauliflowers outer leaves and cut the stem so it sits flat
Put maple syrup, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, and soy sauce in a small bowl
Mix them together with a whisk
Spread the sesame ginger marinade all over the cauliflower, making sure it gets into all the cracks and crevices
Add salt and pepper to the cauliflower and then sprinkle sesame seeds on top
Put the cauliflower on a baking sheet that has foil or parchment paper on it
Put the cauliflower in an oven that has already been heated up
Roast it for 45 to 50 minutes, or until it is soft and golden brown, basting it with the marinade every now and then
After roasting, put the cauliflower on a plate and top it with thinly sliced green onions
Enjoy while hot
