There are four different kinds of vegan puff pastry treats that come with different fillings: apple and cinnamon, mushroom and thyme, and spinach and feta. Great for any event, including parties and snacks.
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet vegan puff pastry
- For Spinach and Feta filling:
- - 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- - 1/2 cup vegan feta cheese, crumbled
- For Mushroom and Thyme filling:
- - 1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
- - 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- For Sweet Potato and Caramelized Onion filling:
- - 1 small sweet potato, peeled and diced
- - 1 onion, thinly sliced and caramelized
- For Apple and Cinnamon filling:
- - 1 apple, peeled and thinly sliced
- - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- - 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 200C 400F
Cut the puff pastry sheet into 4 equal squares
For each square, spoon the desired filling ingredients onto one half of the square, leaving a border
Fold the pastry over the filling to create a triangle and press the edges firmly to seal
Place the filled pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving
